Double-Hung Windows
Double-hung windows convey a sense of traditional American design. They feature an upper and lower sash that slide vertically past each other and tilt in for easy cleaning.
Sliding Windows
These windows are a good option when your window size is wider than tall. Or, when you have a large window, they are a much more economical option than other window styles.
Casement Windows (Crank-Out)
These stylish windows lend a sense of elegance to any home and deliver the most unobstructed views, structural integrity, energy efficiency, and ventilation of any operating window.
Colonial Casement Windows
Crank-out casement windows that look like double hung windows. These windows give you the benefits of a casement window with the classic look of a double hung window for colonial-era homes.
Picture Windows
Picture windows from APCO can bring high-end design, gorgeous views, and practical user-friendliness to your home.
Fixed Glass Window Walls
Customized window walls offer a completely different take on providing stunning views, adding natural light, and creating unique home designs.
Bay, Bow & Garden Windows
All three of these window types are highly prized for their ability to add a sense of square footage to your house. Whether you add a window seat or a place to put plants or decorations, these windows are a great addition to almost any home.
Hopper Windows (For Basements)
These windows lend a sense of newness to any home and provide ventilation that many existing basement windows don't offer.
Half-Round Windows
Half-round windows are typically used in conjunction with standard windows. They have a rounded top and were very stylish during different periods of US home design. If you have them, we can replace them with new, energy-efficient windows.
Specialty Shaped Window
These windows are chosen because they allow for the most customization and personality, allowing the buyer to find the perfect-shaped window for their home.
Cottage Style Windows
Cottage style windows are single hung or double hung windows, featuring an uneven sash with the larger sash on bottom. These windows allow you to preserve the classic features of your home or add authentic detail to a newer home.
Vinyl Windows
Vinyl windows come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. They also come in different tiers of affordability.
Wood Windows
APCO offers wood windows with a multitude of innovative features that clearly distinguish our wood windows and doors from others.
Fiberglass Windows
APCO’s Fiberglass windows offer more glass and less frame, which means narrow frame profiles and clean lines. Although they cost more than standard vinyl windows, fiberglass remains more stable in extreme temperatures.
Window Colors & Wood Grains
Explore a broad palette of window finish options designed to complement any style. From crisp neutrals and rich earth tones, our wood interior windows can be factory stained, and our vinyl windows offer realistic woodgrain interiors and custom color possibilities. These finishes offer lasting beauty and low maintenance for both traditional and contemporary homes.
Glass Dividers
Glass dividers, also known as Grids, Divided Lites, Muntins, and Grilles, come in many styles and designs and play a significant role in your home's architectural style. You can design your own configuration at no extra cost in our vinyl window lines.

Marvin Windows Vs Pella Windows
If you’re in the market for new windows, you’re likely comparing Marvin versus Pella. So, which window brand is better? Let’s sort out the facts.
Jeld-Wen Windows Vs Pella Windows
Both brands offer differences in price points, material, design options and customizability. Let’s have a look at two of the most well-regarded brands out there: Pella and Jeld-Wen.
Winter Heat Loss Prevention
Your windows play a big role in helping you prevent heat loss while also saving on energy bills. A poor-quality window can lose up to five or 10 times as much heat as an insulated wall.
Summer Heat Gain Prevention
A poor quality window can bleed your home of all of your conditioned air, and let in loads of gross humidity and heat.
Air Infiltration
A window’s air infiltration score details how much air leakage occurs at the joints in the frame. Much of what impacts heat gain and loss in a home is attributed to this.
Wind Load Capacity
The wind load of a window, often also referred to as the Design pressure or DP is the load that a window can withstand in a measurement of wind.
Condensation Resistance
Insulated frames, window spacers and inert gasses between panes are all effective ways of preventing condensation on the interior of your windows.
Visibility
Visibility rating is expressed in a number value that ranges from 0 at its lowest, and 1.0 at its highest. At 0.0 transmittance a window would let in practically no light or heat.
ENERGY STAR®
An efficient, ENERGY STAR® rated window helps by primarily adding an appreciable insulation factor that works to reduce solar heat gain and prevent heat loss.

New windows can help lower your utility bills, and modern materials tend to reduce maintenance needs over time. Replacing your windows may improve curb appeal and, in most cases, contribute positively to your home’s resale value.
APCO offers every window style available on the market today:
The glass in your windows can make a big difference in your home’s energy efficiency. Windows with high-efficiency glass can reduce your utility bills and improve your comfort. Double- and triple-paned windows consist of multiple panes of glass with air pockets between them to slow heat transfer.
The addition of argon or krypton gas to these pockets can further reduce heat transfer. Alternatively, low-E is a glass coating that reflects heat instead of absorbing it in air pockets or gas additives.
There are four window frame options available. Many homeowners choose vinyl because it’s affordable, efficient, and low maintenance. Fiberglass frames are a little more expensive, but they are more durable than vinyl and equally low-maintenance. Wood is a traditional, high-end frame option, but it has a higher price tag and can require some maintenance. Finally, aluminum frames are available, but they are best suited for commercial structures.
Of course! We can replace your windows at any time of the year! During colder months, we mitigate heat loss in your home by sealing off rooms and opening as few windows as possible. Usually one window at a time.
Our installation teams work both inside and outside of your home during installation. During colder parts of the year, they limit the number of open windows to keep the interior of your home comfortable as they work.
Cost depends on the size, style, and number of windows you’re replacing, plus the frame material you choose between vinyl, wood, or fiberglass. APCO offers distributor-direct pricing, and the most accurate way to get a number for your specific home is a free in-home consultation.
